6d Sports Nutrition Sports Chew + Caffeine are soft fruit energy bars that combine an advanced carbohydrate matrix with caffeine to provide fast and efficient energy during exercise. The bars contain 50% fruit paste and natural flavouring and are available in a refreshing grapefruit flavour.
During endurance training or competition, athletes often rely on energy gels or bars to maintain their carbohydrate intake. Products with a high content of protein, fat or fiber can slow down gastric emptying and delay carbohydrate absorption. This can lead to a feeling of fullness or digestive discomfort during exercise.
6d Sports Chew + Caffeine contain very little fat, protein and fiber, making them easy to digest and rich in carbohydrates. Their soft and chewy texture makes them easy to eat even during intense exercise. The bars can also be combined with energy gels during training or racing to help athletes reach higher carbohydrate intake targets.
Each fruit bar provides 30 g of carbohydrates from glucose and fructose in a 2:1 ratio. Thanks to this ratio, the body can absorb up to 90 g of carbohydrates per hour when multiple carbohydrate sources are used. Addition of caffeine
In addition, each bar contains 75 mg of caffeine. Caffeine has been shown to improve performance by increasing alertness, concentration and endurance while helping reduce the perception of fatigue. Because of these effects, caffeine is widely used by athletes during long endurance efforts, interval training and many team or racquet sports, such as football or tennis.
Suggested use:
