Stable energy for long and demanding endurance efforts

Noutron Premium Endurance was developed in collaboration with Noutron’s elite athletes. Following months of testing and refining different formulations, the team created an optimised carbohydrate blend based on the latest research into fuelling before and during endurance exercise.

The formula combines three different carbohydrate sources to provide a high and consistent supply of energy throughout training and racing. At the same time, it is designed for good digestive tolerance, helping athletes maintain their fuelling strategy during long and intense efforts.

The powder contains 95 g of carbohydrates per 100 g, while one 40 g serving provides approximately 38 g of carbohydrates. This makes it easy to plan and adjust carbohydrate intake according to the duration and intensity of each session.

Its fresh, natural taste comes from real fruit concentrate rather than artificial sweeteners or flavourings. The result is a pleasant, refreshing drink that remains easy to consume even during prolonged training sessions and races.

The formula also contains the key electrolytes sodium, chloride and magnesium, which support hydration, help maintain fluid balance and reduce the risk of muscle cramps during exercise.

Three carbohydrate sources

Noutron Premium Endurance contains:

• glucose in the form of maltodextrin

• fructose

• isomaltulose

Glucose and fructose are absorbed in the intestine through different transporters: SGLT1 and GLUT5. Combining the two therefore allows the body to absorb more carbohydrates per hour than it could from glucose or maltodextrin alone.

When intake is planned appropriately, this combination can support the absorption of approximately 90 g of carbohydrates per hour – an important factor during prolonged endurance exercise.

The role of isomaltulose

A distinctive part of the formula is isomaltulose, a carbohydrate that is absorbed more slowly than conventional fast-acting sugars.

This helps support:

• more stable blood glucose levels

• smoother and more sustained energy delivery

• a more consistent energy supply throughout prolonged exercise

This gradual energy profile helps preserve glycogen stores and reduces the risk of hitting the wall during long training sessions or races.

Electrolytes for hydration

Noutron Premium Endurance contains essential electrolytes:

• sodium

• chloride

• magnesium

These electrolytes support hydration and fluid balance during exercise. Magnesium also contributes to electrolyte balance and normal muscle function, making the formula particularly suitable for long and demanding endurance sessions.

When consumed during exercise, we recommend mixing 40 g of powder with 500 ml of water.

When taken before training, we recommend mixing 80 g of powder with 500 ml of water approximately 1 hour before activity.

Ingredients:

Pineapple: Isomaltulose, maltodextrin, fructose, acidity regulator (citric acid), aroma, natural fruit concentrate from pineapple, salt, vitamin C, natural color (caramel and safflower extract), anti-caking agent (magnesium oxide).

Lime: Isomaltulose, maltodextrin, fructose, acidity regulator (citric acid), flavouring, natural fruit concentrate from lime, salt, vitamin C, natural colour (safflower extract), anti-caking agent (magnesium oxide).

Wild Fruit: Isomaltulose, maltodextrin, fructose, acidity regulator (citric acid), flavor, natural fruit concentrate (blackberry, raspberry, blueberry), vitamin C, natural color (raspberry extract), anti-caking agent (magnesium oxide), sodium chloride.
