6d Sports Nutrition Beta Alanine Carnosyn® is designed for athletes performing high-intensity efforts. Beta-alanine increases muscle carnosine levels, helping buffer muscle acidity and support performance during intense exercise.
Each capsule contains 800 mg of CARNOSYN® beta-alanine, a patented and well-researched form.

6d Sports Nutrition Beta Alanine Carnosyn®
Performance support for high-intensity efforts
6d Sports Nutrition Beta Alanine Carnosyn® is a dietary supplement designed for athletes performing short to medium-duration high-intensity efforts. Beta-alanine is a precursor of carnosine, a compound stored in skeletal muscles that helps buffer acidity during intense exercise.
During short and intense efforts, muscles rely mainly on glucose as a fuel source, which leads to the production of lactic acid. Lactic acid then dissociates into lactate and hydrogen ions (H⁺). While lactic acid is often blamed for muscle fatigue, the main cause of muscle acidosis is actually the accumulation of hydrogen ions.
Carnosine stored in skeletal muscles helps neutralize these hydrogen ions and delay the onset of fatigue. However, during prolonged and intense training or competition, muscle carnosine stores gradually decline. This leads to an accumulation of hydrogen ions, reduced power output, increased muscle fatigue and ultimately a decrease in performance.
Increased muscle carnosine levels
Studies have shown that long-term supplementation with beta-alanine CARNOSYN® increases muscle carnosine stores. Higher carnosine levels can help improve performance, particularly during high-intensity efforts lasting between 30 seconds and 10 minutes.
A daily intake of approximately 3–6 g of beta-alanine is typically required to increase muscle carnosine levels. Supplementation should be maintained for at least 4–8 weeks, while 10–12 weeks of regular intake is often recommended for optimal results.
Long-term supplementation may also contribute to improved endurance and greater resistance to fatigue during repeated high-intensity efforts.
CARNOSYN® quality
Each capsule provides 800 mg of beta-alanine CARNOSYN®.
CARNOSYN® is a patented form of beta-alanine known for its high purity and effectiveness in increasing muscle carnosine levels.
Thanks to the extended-release capsule technology, beta-alanine is released gradually in the body. As a result, most athletes can take 2 capsules (1600 mg) at once without experiencing the typical tingling sensation on the skin (paresthesia).
Who is it for
6d Sports Nutrition Beta Alanine Carnosyn® is ideal for athletes performing high-intensity efforts lasting between approximately 30 seconds and 10 minutes, such as:
track and field athletes
rowers and swimmers
cyclists during intense efforts
team sport athletes (football, basketball, handball) performing repeated sprints.
Suggested use:
Take 3x2 tablets per day, preferably with a meal each time, for 4 weeks prior to the start of an important period of competition. After the loading phase, a maintenance dose of 2 tablets per day is sufficient. If slight skin tingling still occurs after taking 2 tablets, consider taking 1 tablet at a time instead.
