6d Sports Nutrition Collagen Peptan®
Support for tendons, ligaments and joints
6d Sports Nutrition Collagen Peptan® is a pre-workout supplement designed to support the strength and recovery of bones, cartilage, tendons and ligaments. It provides key nutrients that help maintain the integrity of the musculoskeletal system, especially during periods of regular training or high physical load.
Musculoskeletal injuries – including injuries to muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones and cartilage – are among the most common injuries experienced by both recreational and professional athletes. They frequently occur in contact sports such as football, basketball, handball or hockey, but may also develop due to overuse and repetitive strain in endurance sports.
Collagen as a key structural protein
Musculoskeletal tissues are largely composed of collagen, a structural protein that plays a crucial role in the strength, stability and elasticity of connective tissues.
When these tissues are stressed or damaged, the body requires specific amino acids to rebuild and strengthen collagen structures. The most important amino acids involved in collagen production include:
glycine
proline
L-hydroxyproline
These amino acids are naturally present in higher amounts in gelatin and collagen peptides.
Supporting collagen synthesis
Recent research focusing on tendon health has shown that consuming 15 g of gelatin combined with 50 mg of vitamin C may stimulate collagen synthesis in tendons.
Taking collagen approximately one hour before training may improve collagen production, as the amino acids required for collagen formation are most available during the training stimulus.
One serving of 6d Sports Nutrition Collagen Peptan® provides:
15 g of type I collagen (Peptan®)
50 mg of vitamin C
Highly soluble collagen peptides
Peptide collagen, also known as collagen hydrolysate, is produced through an enzymatic process that breaks gelatin proteins down into smaller peptides.
This process results in:
excellent solubility
efficient absorption
neutral taste
Thanks to these properties, the product can easily be mixed into both warm and cold beverages.
Who is it for?
6d Sports Nutrition Collagen Peptan® is ideal for:
athletes in contact sports
endurance athletes exposed to repetitive tendon stress
athletes recovering from high training loads
individuals looking to support rehabilitation and connective tissue health
Regular use may support the strengthening and recovery of connective tissues, helping athletes maintain healthy joints and movement over the long term.
Suggested use:
Mix 15g (= 3 scoops) powder with ≥200ml of water. Always consume 30-60 minutes before training session in which tendons, ligaments, bones and/or cartilage are specifically trained. Use 1-3 servings daily, depending on the number of training sessions.
Ingredients:
Bovine hydrolysed collagen (Peptan®), vitamin C (ascorbic acid).
